Q&A with J.Junior Page

Yesterday, I caught up with the Author J. Junior Page and we chatted about a few of his latest projects; including the Sons of Asgard Series.

Q) Will the Child of Woe end the series?
A) I hope not, I have big plans for the series and it has always been my intention to get many stories from the main characters out there.

Q) Will there be any more side books linked to the series. Do releases such as "The Harvest of the Blood Moon Wolf" fill a valuable role in the story?
A) Without a doubt, the side books add more detail and reasons for the actions of the main characters within the main storyline. I hope to have several of these types of books available. I personally believe they will become essential for later books.

Q) Do you have trouble fitting in all the plot points in each book?
A) I feel that I do, I want the reader to know why a character feels and acts in such a way. I believe that it brings them to life!

Q) Will there be a third instalment  of Infinity Minus Zero. We received a snippet of IMZIII:Operative at the end of book two?
A) Possible, but the series is on holiday at the moment.

Q) Does the Sons of Asgard series occupy your time at the moment?
A) Yes, it is the series I love. It is the favoured child of the family at the moment!

Q) Will you as a writer and publisher, explore different genres in the future?
A) I intend to, at this moment I have several different projects away from my safety zone in the offering.

Q) Will "Child of Woe" be out this month( October)?
A) I am in the final proofing stage and I would like to release it as error free as possible!

Child of Woe

Mid-October 2014 will see the release of the third story in "The Sons of Asgard" series of books. The book is titled "Child of Woe" and it will follow on the story from the second book "Victims or the Darkness."
There will be relevant elements from the side story "The Harvest of the Blood Moon Wolf." The series Author, J. Junior Page; believes that loose ends will be tied up and a greater understanding of the nine realms will be offered to the readers.

The Author assures me that both Raif and Magnus will return to action, whether they will be fighting in the same realm is unknown at this time. The Child of Woe will be set a few years before the start of the Viking Age, and the book offers explanations for the start of the Norseman's aggression. Meanwhile the Realm of Fire is ripped apart by Civil War, the forces of conservative tradition have now taken the fight to the new liberal stance of the Prince Regent. With so much chaos, there is sure to be an opportunistic power vying to increase their own strength.

Author J. Junior Page promises action, intrigue and heroism, if you have enjoyed the series so far expect to be entertained further.

The Author is contactable on twitter.

Child of Woe shall be available 21/10/2014!

Call of the Blood.

Launch of the Series.

After months of writing and planning, long nights spent checking and then re-checking; the first book of J. Junior Page's exciting new Dark Age work of historical fiction is finally available to read. The E-Book is currently available exclusively through Amazon for the Kindle reader and retails for a price comparable to an average cup of Coffee or half the price of a pack of Cigarettes. The Author hopes that the series of books can undo much of the confusion caused from the last couple of outings of Thor in the Marvel Comics version of the gods of the Northern Tradition. John Junior enjoy's the fiction of their version but hopes to correct a few errors that are far removed from the heathen faith of Europe.

The book is set in a Europe that is struggling to reassert it's identity after years of anarchy. Since the might of the Roman Empire came to an end, the people of Europe have had to endure constant conflict and religious persecution. Christianity wishes to spread it's message to the north of Europe and the Islamic faith seeks to spread the word of their faith to the lands already Christian.

In a small region which are now part of modern Germany and Denmark, the defenders of the pagan world notice the threat to their way of life by king Charlemagne and his great Frankish Empire. Against the backdrop of the great Christian king's war against the Saxon's our story unfolds.

In the relative isolation of the Danish western coast, two warriors and their Christian friend notice signs of interference by creatures that belonged to their dark pagan history. Soon our heroes are locked in a battle between the gods of the Aesir and their enemies outside the realm of Midgard.

Where murder and ruination run riot, the forces of good and light will choose their own heroes to battle against the darkness as it rises.

Call of the Blood: Part One looks inside the desires of the major powers within the nine realms, as we stumble every closer to the final battle at Ragnorak.
Has destiny been defeated? And are all prophecies fixed? Only by reading the full book will you truly appreciate the journey of gods and monsters towards the end of everything!
